NASCAR disqualifies JR Motorsports car of Michael Annett at Talladega Superspeedway

TALLADEGA, Ala. – The Xfinity Series car belonging to JR Motorsports drivers Michael Annett has failed post-race inspection at Talladega Superspeedway due to height violations – too low in the left front per NASCAR.

Annett was stripped of his finish and moved to 37th. Prior to the penalty, it had been the best run for Annett since his win at the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway in 2019. Annett was ninth in the points after his runner-up finish at Talladega but moves to 12th – one point behind Riley Herbst and facing a must-win situation at the ROVAL next week.
